Job Title: Junior Accountant

Salary: $70,000 per year

Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 1–2 days onsite per week, with more frequent onsite attendance during the first few weeks for training.

Client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, payments, expense reports, and employee reimbursements.
• Manage customer invoicing, cash applications, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile AP/AR transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and assist with tax documentation.
• Support bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and monthly closing.
• Assist with financial reporting, audit documentation, and ad hoc accounting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Prior accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Familiarity with Concur for expense management and employee reimbursements.
