At UPS, we’re seeking an accomplished Finance leader with demonstrated enterprise technology transformation experience to shape the future of our global Finance organization.

As Vice President, Finance Technology (FinTech), you’ll combine deep financial and business expertise with the ability to modernize the systems, processes, and technologies that enable financial performance.

You’ll lead an organization of 100+ professionals, oversee strategic transformation investments exceeding $100 million, and influence technology capabilities supporting more than 10,000 Finance and business users worldwide.

This is a Finance leadership opportunity with a technology transformation mandate—not a traditional IT leadership role.

The Challenge You’ll Solve

Operating at UPS’s scale requires Finance to navigate complex global processes, interconnected legacy systems, evolving business requirements, and increasing expectations for real-time financial insights.

Your challenge is to translate Finance’s strategic and operational needs into technology-enabled business transformation.

You’ll identify opportunities to simplify and standardize financial processes, modernize enterprise platforms, strengthen financial controls, and improve the quality, accessibility, and usefulness of financial information.

Success requires more than delivering technology implementations. You’ll need deep understanding of enterprise Finance operations, including accounting, controllership, general ledger management, financial consolidation and reporting. You'll translate that expertise into technology-enabled transformation that simplifies complex global processes, strengthens financial integrity, and delivers measurable business value.

What You’ll Own

• Finance Transformation Strategy: Shape and execute a multiyear Finance modernization roadmap aligned with enterprise financial priorities and operating objectives.
• Financial Process Optimization: Improve and standardize core Finance processes across accounting, controllership, financial planning, reporting, and related functions.
• Enterprise Finance Systems: Lead business-driven transformation across ERP, EPM, financial reporting, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Investment & Value Realization: Prioritize transformation investments, evaluate business cases, establish performance measures, and demonstrate measurable financial and operational returns.
• Governance & Financial Integrity: Strengthen financial data quality, reporting reliability, internal controls, compliance, and operational continuity throughout transformation.
• Executive Partnership & Talent Leadership: Collaborate with senior Finance, Technology, and business executives while leading and developing a global Finance Technology organization.

What You’ll Bring

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance leadership, Finance transformation, financial systems, or closely related disciplines, including significant enterprise-level leadership responsibility.
• A strong foundation in Finance operations, accounting, controllership, FP&A, financial reporting, or enterprise financial management, with demonstrated understanding of how Finance functions operate.
• Proven success leading Finance-driven enterprise technology transformations, including ERP/EPM modernization, financial process redesign, or global Finance systems integration.
• Experience translating Finance strategy and business requirements into technology roadmaps, investment priorities, and measurable business results.
• Demonstrated accountability for complex, large-scale transformation initiatives in a global, highly matrixed organization.
• Strong financial acumen, executive influence, and the ability to partner effectively with CFO organizations and enterprise Technology teams.
• Proven experience leading large, cross-functional organizations and developing high-performing leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline required. MBA, CPA, or comparable advanced qualification preferred.
• Experience in large, multinational enterprises with complex financial operations is strongly preferred.
