Sr. Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support a growing e-commerce organization in Brooksville, Florida. This Contract position will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening reconciliation processes, and producing timely accounting support for ongoing business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in general ledger activity, month-end close tasks, and sales-related accounting within a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve outstanding items promptly.• Reconcile daily sales activity across reporting sources and verify that transactions are properly reflected in the accounting records.• Post recurring and non-recurring journal entries on a weekly and monthly basis in support of close activities.• Record daily sales transactions with attention to completeness, timing, and proper general ledger classification.• Assist with accounts payable processing by supporting invoice review, coding, and related accounting entries.• Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support business decisions and operational questions.• Support month-end close efforts by maintaining organized documentation and helping ensure deadlines are met.• Work within SyteLine and/or Shopify to review financial data, validate transactions, and support accounting operations.
