Key Responsibilities
- Month-End Close: Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closes; prepare journal entries and financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).
- General Ledger & Reconciliations: Reconcile bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts; resolve variances proactively.
- Audit & Compliance: Prepare audit schedules and serve as a primary liaison for external auditors; assist with tax and regulatory filings.
- Internal Controls & Process: Maintain robust internal controls and identify process improvements to increase workflow efficiency.
- Analysis & Mentorship: Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide guidance to staff accountants.
Qualifications
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Experience: 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (public accounting mix preferred).
- Skills: strong US GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP), and ERP proficiency (NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks).
