Business / IT Bridge Support

Seeking a Business Support Specialist for Management Information System (MIS) in a client environment. This role involves providing system support for the client’s MIS and other related systems, as well as facilitating communication and collaboration with Tokyo Head Office. The successful candidate will be adept at data analysis, system administration, and cross-cultural communication.Role and Responsibilities:- Provide essential business support for the MIS and related systems, including requirement definition, troubleshooting, user training, and documentation.- Collaborate remotely with Tokyo Head Office to gather and adjust requirements.- Assist in the development and maintenance of system documentation, including business requirement definition, user manuals and operational procedures.- Prepare and present regular reports on situation of system development.- Work closely with the IT team to resolve system issues and implement upgrades as needed.- Facilitate clear,effective communication between U.S. business department, U.S. IT department and Tokyo teams, fostering a strong working relationship across branches.Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience (5+ years) in business support, preferably in a banking or financial institution.- Experience of management information systems.- Excellent data analysis skills with SQL / RDB and proficiency in relevant software tools.- Experience working in a multicultural environment, preferably with remote teams.- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Desired qualifications: - Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslySalary: $68 / hour Mainly remote work at EST time, preferably candidates reside in NY, NJ Work status: Contract (1 year or more)Language: English required, Japanese is a plus.
