The Net Suite IT Finance & Accounting Support Manager serves as the primary systems resource for the Finance and Accounting team, bridging the gap between IT and finance operations. This role owns the day-to-day administration, optimization, and reporting capabilities of Net Suite for the finance function — ensuring the system supports accurate, efficient, and scalable financial operations. The ideal candidate combines technical Net Suite expertise with a solid understanding of accounting workflows (close process, AP/AR, revenue recognition, fixed assets, etc.) to translate finance team needs into system solutions.

Finance / IT Netsuite Manager Responsibilities

• Serve as the finance team's primary point of contact for Net Suite-related issues, questions, and enhancement requests
• Help develop an AI roadmap for the finance department and work on the roll out of the identified AI functionality
• Identify and implement process improvements and system efficiencies to reduce manual work and close-cycle time
• Support the Controller/Assistant Controller with ad hoc reporting and data extracts for month-end close, audits, budgeting, and forecasting
• Assist with developing system controls to support the rollout of audit / SOX requirements
• Maintain saved searches, custom fields, workflows, and dashboards used by the finance team
• Evaluate current finance workflows within Net Suite and recommend automation opportunities (e.g., approval workflows, recurring journal entries, bill/invoice automation)
• Assist with system integrations between Net Suite and other business tools (e.g., expense management, payroll, banking, accounts payable platforms)
• Develop and document standardized reporting templates to improve consistency and reduce manual reporting effort
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial reports through regular reconciliation and validation
• Train finance and accounting staff on Net Suite functionality, reports, and best practices
• Participate in Net Suite implementation, upgrade, or module rollout projects as the finance-side subject matter expert
• Partner with corporate IT/Net Suite administrators on system upgrades, integrations, and change management

Finance / IT Netsuite Manager

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, accounting preferred, minor in Information Systems or related field
• 5+ years of experience administering or supporting Net Suite, ideally within a finance/accounting environment
• Net Suite certification(s) (e.g., Net Suite Administrator, Suite Foundation)
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and the general ledger close process
• Experience supporting SOX compliance or internal controls environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 yearly salary
