Audit Senior - Public Accounting - Greater Boston - Hybrid

A local public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with firm leadership and a diverse client base, including privately held domestic and international businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit, review, compilation, and other assurance engagements.
• Perform risk assessments, audit planning, and internal control evaluations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, audit reports, and supporting documentation.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through direct communication.
• Perform technical accounting research and ensure compliance with applicable GAAP and professional standards.
• Assist with tax engagements for select assurance clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3-4+ years of public accounting experience.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience planning and executing audits, supervising staff, and managing client relationships.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
